Zelensky urged partners to stop looking for excuses, and impose strong sanctions against the Russian Federation

In his video, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the Allies to stop finding justifications to evade specific sanctions – this applies to both Europe, the United States, and the Seven States and Twenty.

– Peace is the road. The path to be overcome from war to rest. Everyone has to go through this distance, and sanction measures are an integral part. If Putin refuses peace, he or she must be forced. The war -solved war will only end When he loses his ability to continue. That is why it is critically important to introduce powerful restrictions on refining terminals that export or import Russian oil. This can be the most important step to peace that can only be imagined. Indeed, the Head of State said.

In addition, Zelensky stressed that the fundamental document on security guarantees for Ukraine has already been “actually formed”.

– Basic security guarantees for Ukraine, and therefore for the entire European community, have been practically completed. The details are carefully processed, all points will be agreed with partners. Currently, the key task is to press on Russia to accelerate the end of the fighting: to bring it to the negotiations that will give the result, to provide a stable truce, in which the enemy will stop murder and shelling, – said the Ukrainian President.

He stressed that this can only be achieved by the joint efforts of Ukraine, Europe, the USA and other key participants in the international community.
