President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for the introduction of a new sanction package against the Russian Federation, aimed at the shadow fleet of Russian oil tankers.

He reported it on social networks.

The sanction package covers 100 positions, including 70 tankers, 27 companies – manufacturers and suppliers for the Russian MIC, including those involved in the production of sparks, as well as three individuals.

Zelensky emphasized that during the preparation of sanctions, they took into account the proposals of Ukraine, which has long insisted on pressure on these areas to deprive Moscow resources to continue the war.

The President added that Ukraine is expecting a continuation of pressure on the infrastructure of the Russian Federation and its financial system by partners.

“We need to do everything possible to raise money in a Russian military car. This is the only way to stop Russia and end this war, ”Zelensky emphasized.

Recall that the US and the EU are discussing the methods to squeeze Russia.

The EU will also completely abandon Russian energy until 2028.
