Vlad Cherevko I have been interested in all kinds of electronics and technologies since the early 2000s. I like to play computer games and understand the work of different gadgets. I regularly monitor the news of the technology in the world and write materials about it.

YouTube has announced a full launch of multilingual audio function that allows the authors to add video in different languages, Techcrunch reports. The opportunity will be available to all video authors during the coming weeks.

The function first appeared in 2023 within the pilot project, whose participants were limited by the authors, including MrBeast bloggers, Mark Robert and chef Jamie Oliver. Content creators cooperated with third -party dubs, but later, YouTube integrated an automated tool for voice and translation based on Google Gemini technology. This system is able to reproduce the author’s intonation and emotions during translation.

According to the company, the authors during the testing noted the growth of views. On average, more than 25% of video viewing with multilingual tracks was different from the main. The Jamie Oliver channel increased the number of views three times after the function.

In addition, YouTube has been testing multilingual miniatures for video. The chosen authors were able to set up a preview image with the text that the viewer chooses.

Earlier it became known that YouTube would be stiffer to control the use of Premium family subscribers.
