On Sunday, September 7, the first battle at the tournament was conducted by a representative of the weight category up to 65 kg Oleg Chlyacheevwhose rival became Bajoka from Kosovo. The Ukrainian won in each of the three rounds, but eventually lost the battle and flew out of the World Cup. How is this possible?
At the World Cup in England, boxers conduct a three -round match that evaluates five judges. As a result of the battle of the evaluation of each judge, the athlete who won on each note receives one point – a maximum of five.
And here begins the most interesting, because the Chulacheev won each round:
- 1 Round – 10: 9, 9:10, 10: 9, 9:10, 10: 9, 3: 2 in favor of Ukrainian
- 2 Round – 10: 9, 9:10, 9:10, 10: 9, 10: 9, Oleg with a score of 3: 2

However, because three of the five judges each round was evaluated unnecessarily, the final picture was sad for the representative of the national team of Ukraine: the first and fifth judges gave all three rounds to Oleg, so he earned two points (twice to 30:27).
And here the second, third and fourth judges in different rounds gave Oleg different points and the summary in the win was Bakshi – 29:28, 29:28, 29:28 and a total account 3: 2 in favor of Boxer from Kosovo.
After the battle, the Ukrainian confessed that he knew about his victory in each of the rounds, but was shocked when he heard about his defeat and departure from the tournament through such a evaluation system.
