The straight language of the Kremlin head: “As for the possible contingents of the military in Ukraine. Well, this is one of the root causes of Ukraine’s involvement in NATO. Therefore, if there are any troops, especially now, during the fighting, we proceed from the fact that these will be legitimate goals for their destruction.”

Details: Putin’s words were met with applause.

“And if the decisions that lead to peace, long -term peace are reached, then I simply see no sense in their stay in Ukraine. That’s all. Because, if these arrangements are reached, no one doubt that Russia will fulfill them in full,” the Kremlin added.

He assures that the Russian Federation will respect those security guarantees that “must be produced for both Russia and Ukraine.”

“And, again, of course, Russia will fulfill the arrangements,” Putin convinces.
