Despite the injury during the shelling in Rubizhny, Sergey Naumenko continued to perform the task. He participated in the battles in Siverskodonetsk, Lisichansk, Izium, Balakliy, Kupyansk, Khledar, Marinka and Bakhmuti, ”Klimenko said.
According to him, Naumenko will be responsible for the following areas of activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:
- formation and implementation of state policy in the field of protection of the state border and protection of sovereign rights of Ukraine in its exclusive (maritime) economic zone;
- coordination of the realization of the minister in the military-political and administrative leadership of the National Guard of Ukraine;
- Functioning and development of a unified system of aviation security and civil protection in the activities of the National Police, the State Border Service, SES and NSU.
In addition, according to the Minister, in the field of responsibility of his deputy will be improved legislation within the competence, the organization of the use of aviation and unmanned units, the development of flight training and coordination of the activities of aviation enterprises in the field of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As stated on the Ministry of Internal Affairs website, the Minister of Internal Affairs is now six deputies, one of whom is Naumenko. He was appointed to the post of September 1. According to this, from May 2023 he was the director of the Aviation Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
