Between War and Football: Director Mulla presented a trailer

The official trailer for the new Ukrainian movie “The Game” directed by Vladimir Muli was released. The tape tells the real history of the Mikhailenko brothers – Sergiy, commander of the MOBILE FIRTH GROUP, and Nicholas, player of the Olympic team of Ukraine in football.

According to the authors, the film explores an unexpected bond of wartime between military and athletes. While one of the brothers risks life on the front line, the other represents Ukraine on the world sports arena of the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris.

“This cinema is important for the perception of the situation in Ukraine with a Western audience. What is obvious to us: what we live in, what we are talking about-it is quite different from them. I hope that my new movie will be able to strengthen the focus of attention to our wonderful country,” said the director of the painting.

At the production stage, the film was called “Football in Okopi”. The shooting took place in France and Ukraine. The film’s world premiere will be held on September 30, 2025 at the Odessa International Film Festival as part of the National Competition Program of full -length documentaries. All -Ukrainian movie theater rolled planned for spring 2026.

The musical design of the tape includes two sign compositions for Ukraine: “Cossack kind” performed by Jerry Heil and “Good Morning, Ukraine” of the band number 482.

We will remind, at the 2024 Games in Paris the Olympic team of Ukraine for football completed the performance after the group stage, having taken the third place in the quartet with Morocco, Argentina and Iraq.
