Details: According to the investigation materials, during the speech to Russian propagandists, Kadyrov stated that he had ordered his “subordinates” not to capture the Ukrainian military, but to shoot them on the battlefield. He also ordered the departed Ukrainian defenders, who were kept in Chechnya, on the roofs of military facilities in the Grozny, and use them as a “live shield” from the attacks of drones of defense forces.

That preceded:
- On October 30, 2024 Kadyrov stated that he ordered the commanders of “Akhmat” no longer to take Ukrainian soldiers in captivity.
- On September 15, Akhmat Alaudinov, Akhmata commander, refused to release Chechnya residents from the Ukrainian captivity and advised to “wash away their shame with blood” and make them killed.
- In August, the state project of the GUR Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “I want to live” published a video with Russian prisoners of war, who say that they were from the thunderstorm and, according to the project, were captured in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
- On November 2, Kadyrov stated that he canceled his order to the Akhmat fighters not to capture the Ukrainian military.
