Details: According to the Prime Minister, within one night Russia used 629 shock drones “Shahaned”, other drones, winged and ballistic missiles. As a result of the blows, 25 people were killed, four of them children, 63 more civilians were injured, including 11 children. The youngest victim was less than three years old. She was born under Russian shelling in October 2022 and died from Russian shelling in August 2025.

“Russia continues to choose the path of killings instead of the end of the war. These murders are deliberate acts of terror. It is a conscious decision of Moscow-to continue a systemic campaign against civilians and the destruction of any likeness of normal life,” the Prime Minister said.
She stressed that Ukraine urgently needs additional air defense systems and long -habitable damage to neutralize Russian military facilities, where attacks are being carried out.
Sviridenko also cited data on crimes against children: from the beginning of a full -scale invasion of at least 20 children were raped by the Russian military, 2139 – wounded, 2193 – are considered to be missing, and tens of thousands – stolen. 1.6 million Ukrainian children are under Russian control in the occupied territories.
Sviridenko urged the world leaders to take decisive steps, including:
- approve the 19th package of EU sanctions as soon as possible;
- completely disconnect Russia from international financial systems;
- to impose sanctions against the “shadow fleet” of Naftotankers;
- set harsh tariffs for undermining the military economy of the Russian Federation;
- Strengthen personal sanctions against the political and military leadership of Russia.
Sviridenko emphasized that Russia should be deprived of resources to finance war. At the same time, Ukraine, she said, remains open to diplomacy in order to achieve “comprehensive, just and prolonged peace.”
