The last Hamburg derby was held 14 years ago during the Higher German League – during the 2010/11 season.
From the very beginning of the game, fans have created a special atmosphere thanks to their exclamations, banners and pyrotechnics.
The first in the duel was the guests who forced the arena for a few seconds.
After the break, the condition did not change, but only worsened when it comes to Hamburg. The guests were missed for the second time, remaining almost a chance for a positive result.
Hamburg fans were so upset about the course of events, and the removal of the former Shakhtar player Gorga Ghocholeishvili in the 77th minute killed all the hopes of the audience.
As a result, St. Paul won the Hamburg Derby (3: 1) for the first time in three years and rose to the first place in the League.
