In the second quarter of 2025, Huawei first bypassed Apple to supply smart watches and won the market leadership. The main growth factor is the Chinese market, which has grown by 8% compared to last year, according to the Counterpoint Research report.

In addition, the second quarter of 2025 marked the restoration of the global smart -hour market after the recession during the five quarters in a row since the beginning of 2024. The global revival was due to a stable increase in consumer demand for watches, in particular thanks to the Chinese market, led by brands such as Huawei, Xiaomi and Imoo.

Continuing China’s topic, more than three -quarters of Huawei supplies are concentrated in this country, which plays a key role in growth. At the same time, the company is gradually increasing its presence in the markets of Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific. Other factors that have helped Huawei win the lead are a wide portfolio of watches, the cost of which ranges from $ 100 to $ 400.

Other Chinese companies, such as Xiaomi and IMOO, also saw a significant increase in supply in the last quarter-38% and 21%, respectively. At the same time, Apple, which was the market leader, lost 3%, as well as Samsung.
