Xiaomi introduced Hyperos 3 based on Android 16 c iOS elements / photo XiaomiXiaomi officially announced the Hyperos 3 operating system – almost two months earlier. The update is based on Android 16 and brings more than a hundred changes and improvements in design and functionality.
The most notable innovation is Super Island in the spirit of Dynamic Island. It is a “dynamic island” at the top of the screen that unfolds and shows in real time different events: flights, trips, music management, charging status and more.
Many Hyperos 3 interface elements copy the Liquid Glass design with iOS 26, but do not borrow it at the same time. In Xiaomi updated icons, pumped the customization of the screen of the lock, added a generator of Shi-wallpaper, improved optimization, energy efficiency and productivity.
Also, with the Hyperos 3 release 3, Xiaomi owners will be able to broadcast your smartphone screen on a MacBook or iPad – the feature will work as an Airplay app on the iPhone and MacOS.

It is also known that some Xiaomi models will receive Hyperos 3 firmware based on the old Android 15. For some time they will continue to receive security patches, but will remain without new features.
