Details: Demchenko explained that in certain checkpoints the queues may be recorded, but passenger traffic in the last days of the summer is quite active and changes to the rules of crossing the border were not dramatically folded.

- The resolution on amendments to the rules of crossing the state border by citizens of Ukraine, which allows the departure from Ukraine to men aged 18 to 22 years inclusive, was published on the Government portal on August 27. The next day, it came into force after publication in the Government Courier. Border guards reported that they had started applying this norm.
- For traveling abroad, men aged 18 to 22, in addition to the passport, need a military accounting document in paper or electronic form. In the case of search, men of this age category in the crossing of the border will be denied.
- The relevant norm does not apply to the persons specified in paragraph 2-14 of the Rules of crossing the border, that is, to persons who hold the identified positions of state bodies, state bodies and local self-government bodies. Traveling abroad of this category of persons can still be carried out only on a business trip.
