She informed about it on the social network X.

“I am outraged by the attack on Kiev, whose victims were men, women and children. It has caused harm to our diplomatic mission of the EU. My thoughts with our brave staff. The strikes of Russia in Kiev will only strengthen Europe’s unity and the rebelliousness of Ukraine,” Von Der Lien wrote.

She said in the video that it was the most fragile attack of drones and missiles on the capital since July.

“And this is another gloomy reminder that it is put on the map. It shows that the Kremlin will not stop in order to terrorize Ukraine, thoughtlessly killing civilians – men, women and children – and even aiming at the European Union,” the video of the European Commission said in the video.

The President of the European Commission added that it was for this reason that they continue to put pressure on Russia.

“This means strengthening our sanctions regime. We will soon introduce our 19th package of rigid sanctions,” von Der Lyen stressed.

She also informed that in parallel, the European Commission is promoting work on frozen Russian assets to promote the defense and restoration of Ukraine.

“And, of course, we provide strong, unwavering support for Ukraine – our neighbor, partner, friend and our future member,” – said von Der Lyen.

She reported that she would visit seven member states that strengthen and protect external borders with Russia and Belarus.

Another massive Russian attack on UkraineEarlier, UNIAN reported that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov cynically commented on another Russian attack on Ukraine with a statement that no agreements on the Air Truce with Ukraine had been reached. Peskov again stated that the Russian army “successfully strikes the military infrastructure of Ukraine”. At the same time, the Russian Presidential President added that Russia “retains interest in continuing negotiations.”

We also wrote that Colonel Yuriy Ignat, Head of Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shared that Russia had performed a massive combined attack in Kiev with the involvement of jet drones and a large number of missiles. Ignati added that two rockets were hit in a dwelling house. According to him, 629 air attacks flew. The colonel noted that ballistics reaches Kiev in the short term, so in this situation, the forces of defense did everything they could.
