The actress, 37, who won three BAFTAs for her television sitcom Alma’s Not Normal, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share an array of naked mirror snaps.

Sophie revealed back in May that she is expecting her first child with her partner Carniel Francis Levy – a chef specialising in Caribbean fine dining.

Displaying her baby bump, Sophie went nude as she snapped mirror selfies while covering her breasts.

Announcing her pregnancy earlier this year, Sophie wrote: ‘Plot twist… WE’RE HAVING A BABY BOY!

‘Our lives are about to change forever, in the most chaotic, joyful, and magical way… And yes, we’re already arguing about baby names. ❤️‍✨ ❤️‍✨ ❤️‍✨ ❤️‍✨ ❤️‍✨.’

Last year, Sophie revealed she once got caught having sex in the Blue Peter Garden during a boozy night out in Manchester.

Sophie confessed she had a boozy romp outside the BBC studios in Media City, Salford before being interrupted by security guards.

She explained how she thought a ‘big shrub’ in the BBC garden was a ‘good spot’ to have sex before the pair were caught.

When asked on Never Mind The Buzzcocks about the strangest place she had ever had sex, she confessed: ‘The Blue Peter garden.

‘It was a full moon, I’d drunk a lot of Guinness. There was a big shrub we thought would be a good spot.

‘The security came over on those little scooters and said, “We can all see you in the studios on CCTV”. I never even got a badge.’

The Alma’s Not Normal star also confessed to ‘robbing a Greggs’ during another boozy night out.

She said: ‘The naughtiest thing I’ve ever done is robbing a Greggs van. We were quite drunk and really hungry.

‘A man was unloading the van so we took one box each.’

Despite its BAFTA success, Sophie revealed her BBC Two comedy Alma’s Not Normal will not be returning for a third series.

The sitcom drama series first aired in April 2020 and follows the life of Alma who tries to get her life back on track after a recent breakup.

However, according to TV Zone, the show is developing a one-off Christmas special to act as the final episode.

MailOnline contacted representatives for comment at the time.

Releasing an emotional statement, creator, writer, and star Sophie said: ‘I’ve been overwhelmed by the response to the show.

‘People seem to really love and relate to the Nuthalls, which means a lot, and to get the chance to continue that story is beyond what I could have hoped for.

‘That on the back of the awards we’ve received is a bit mind-blowing if I’m honest.

‘To be recognised by BAFTA, Broadcast Awards, The Royal Television Society, peers and our audience in such a way is a real honour.

‘I’m thrilled to get back in the writing room to see where Alma’s journey takes us next.’

Jon Petrie, BBC director of Comedy Commissioning said: ‘We couldn’t be prouder to commission the Award-winning Alma’s Not Normal for a second series. It’s a privilege to work with Sophie and her brilliantly bold and original comedy brain.

‘Sophie embodies everything that you can achieve with the unique opportunities BBC Comedy can offer exciting new voices.’
