Six regions were under the blow of Russian invaders.

“On the night of August 26 to August 27, the enemy made another massive terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles on the civil infrastructure of Ukraine,” – the message reads.
It is noted that purposeful destructive blows have undergone objects of energy and gas transport systems in six regions of Ukraine, in particular in Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya regions.
The assessment of the damage caused is currently underway. Emergency and rescue services work at the site.
The Ministry of Energy noted that at about 1:00, the equipment on one of the key substations in Sumy was damaged as a result of the UAV, resulting in a large part of the city and industrial consumers left without electricity.
In the Poltava region, the enemy deliberately attacked the objects of gas transportation infrastructure, causing significant damage. Energy and gas workers work to restore energy and gas supply as soon as possible.
“We consider Russian attacks as a continuation of the conscious policy of the Russian Federation on the destruction of the civil infrastructure of Ukraine on the eve of the heating season. This is another act of energy terror against the civilian population,” the Ministry of Energy added.
Russian Energy Fireings – The Last News On the night of August 27, Russian invaders attacked the Poltava region, resulting in the fall of debris and direct hit in the Poltava district. The energy sector was then injured due to the attack, the administrative building, vehicles and equipment were damaged.
Earlier, on the night of August 19, the Russians were attacked by rockets and drones of oil refining infrastructure and one of the GTS facilities in the Poltava region. As a result of the attack there were large -scale fires. Prior to that, the last blows were recorded on June 15 and 21 last year.
Energy expert Gennady Ryabtsev in a comment to UNIAN noted that Russia’s attacks on compressor stations can potentially lead to temporary suspension of gas production.
