According to the investigation, in 2021 the settlement chairman illegally transferred more than 3,000 hectares of state land to farms. Grain and industrial crops were grown in the areas without dosimetric control, which caused losses to the state for over UAH 6.6 million.
To legalize the actions, the official issued fictitious leases. The suspicion was declared to the chairman of the community, the land manager, three heads of farms and a former deputy. The investigation is ongoing.
We will remind, Ukrainians will be able to return to the Chernobyl exclusion zone in 50-60 years. However, they will only be allowed to live in a 30-kilometer zone, instead, the 10-kilometer area around the NPP will remain unusable for humans forever.
