According to the findings of forensic expertise, these land plots are radiation and belong to the area of unconditional (compulsory) resettlement of the territory that has undergone radioactive contamination as a result of the Chornobyl disaster and belong to the state.
Earth was used to grow wheat, sunflower, corn, buckwheat, sugar beet and rapeseed. Cereals were sold throughout the state without compulsory dosimetric control. Therefore, the state has caused losses in the amount of UAH 6.6 million. ”

They are charged with several articles of the Criminal Code, including abuse of office, unauthorized occupation of land, as well as violation of the requirements of the radiation safety regime committed by an organized group and a group by prior conspiracy.
The investigation also checks the circumstances of illegal transfer of radiation dangerous land during 2022.
