NABU is asked the court for open consideration of the case of their employee Magamedrasulov

Employees of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau have signed a collective appeal to the Kyiv Court of Appeal to ensure public consideration of the NABU employee’s case Ruslan Magamedrasulov, including complaints about his arrest. The NABU press service was published in its telegram channel.

They noted that on August 25, at 12:30, the Court of Appeal will be considered a complaint about Magamedrasulov detention.

“The employees of the Bureau have signed a collective appeal to the court to ensure public consideration. It is important that society could hear the essence of the prosecution and see the evidence on which the suspicion is based, ”NABU noted.

The letter signed by about 300 NABU employees states that, despite the fact that they consider it impossible to indulge from responsibility for crimes against national security for no person, NABU “sincerely convinced that the events that took place in July 2025 with respect to national BUC workers.

In July, the SBU reported that Russia was investigating Russia’s likely influence on the National Anti -Corruption Bureau. Among the defendants was named, in particular, the head of one of the interregional offices of the Bureau Ruslan Magamedrasulov.

The high-ranking official of NABU and his father was reported suspicion of the article “Aidence of the State Aggressor”. They are in custody. The SBU stated that one of the heads of inter -regional NABU detectives departments was suspected that during a full -scale war he, together with his father, was engaged in the organization of illegal trade with the Russian Federation.

NABU stated that on July 21, about 70 searches were conducted by the SBU, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General’s Office against the Bureau staff. The check was also held in the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.

“At least 15 NABU employees cover. According to available information, investigative actions are carried out without court rulings. ⁠The substances for these actions in the vast majority of cases are the participation of individuals in road accidents. However, some employees are charged with possible relationships with the aggressor country. These facts are not interrelated, ”NABU argued.

After that, on July 22, the Verkhovna Rada supported the Bill No. 12414, which, as reported, limits the independence of NABU and SAP. These legislative changes have provoked protests in Ukraine, as well as concern from Western partners.

Subsequently, President Volodymyr Zelensky introduced a new bill to the Council “Strengthening the powers of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.” The deputies approved this bill as a whole. Zelensky signed this document.
