Eight films were included in the list.
It became known what Ukrainian films can represent Ukraine on Oscar / photo ua.depositphotos.comTo one of the most prestigious events in cinema – Oscar -2026 award for a long time. But the other day, the Ukrainian Oskar Committee reported on the official page the names of the films, which have submitted their applications and will fight for the right to represent our country at a well -known international film award.
Therefore, the list includes eight films that will compete in the category “Best International Film Film”. Among them are such documentary and art work:
- “2000 meters to Andreevka” Mstislav Chernov
- “Bucha” Stanislav Tiunov
- “Virgo” Dmitry Greshko
- “Careful! Life continues” Anton’s thing
- “One Summer in Ukraine” by Vladimir Tykhoi
- Alexander Stratienko’s “lifting power”
- “Stepne” Marina of the Beat
- Catherine Gornostai’s “Time Ribbon”.
By the way, the winner who will present Ukraine at the 98th Ceremony of the Oscar movie will be named on August 28.
We will remind, earlier it became known when “Oscar-2026” will take place and who will become his presenter. The following year, the event will be on March 15 at Los Angeles at the Dolby Theater. The ceremony will begin at 16:00 local time, ie 02:00 – by Kiev.
