The scheme of theft of more than 500 hectares of state land in Dnipropetrovsk was exposed

Law enforcement officers exposed a large -scale scheme of illegal alienation of the land of the state enterprise “DG” Dnipro “of the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture of NAAS of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Former officials of the State Geocadastre, despite the current acts of permanent use, illegally seized more than 500 hectares of state land.

Part of the plots – 239 hectares worth about 24 million UAH – was transferred free of charge to private property through false persons. Subsequently, most of these lands concentrated the property of one beneficiary and related persons. As a result, they received 106 sections with a total area of ​​206 hectares.

According to the interlocutors of the EP in law enforcement agencies suspected of the case are:

  • Roman Leshchenko – former head of the State Geocadastre of Ukraine (official negligence, part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code),
  • Dmitry Drillin – former head of the State Geocadastre in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, now the deputy of the City Council (seizure of state property, part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code),
  • Vladimir Gavrilenko – former head of the district department of the State Geocadastre (seizure of state property, part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code),
  • Alexander Ovsyuk – former head of the state enterprise “DG” Dnipro “(seizure of state property, part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code).

The maximum punishment for incriminated articles is up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved. DBR takes measures to return land to state property.

The procedural guidance in the case is carried out by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
