The Kharkiv Regional Shopping Center has published a list of things that will be needed for recruits at the training center. This is not a comprehensive list, but it covers the most important subjects for the successful passage of basic general military training (BZVP).
First need and first aid kit
Before collecting a suitcase, you should take care of the most important – personal hygiene and medicines.
Hygiene products: toothpaste, brush, toilet and household soap, shampoo, towel, wet and paper wipes, disposable dry shower. You will also need cotton buds, shaving accessories, manicure scissors and antifungal feet.
Medications: Despite the presence of medical centers, it is recommended to have your own first aid kit. It should contain individual drugs, thermometer, analgesic and antipyretics, gastric disorders, bandages, cotton wool, antiseptic and adhesive.
Clothes and household items
Proper clothing will provide comfort at any time of the year. For cold pores you will need warm outerwear, gloves, hat, winter shoes and thermal underwear. For the warm season – a light set of clothing, sneakers, cap or Panama.
Regardless of the season, it is worth taking:
- 4-5 pairs of socks;
- duffle;
- a set of civilian clothing;
- 2-3 T-shirts;
- 5-7 pairs of shorts;
- Rubber slippers.
You will also need a number of household things that will make your daily life easier. It is a road bag, a tablespoon and a teaspoon, a baking flashlight, a folding knife, a multitol, needles and threads, electrical extension cord, clamps, rope, lighter and working gloves.
Don’t worry if you forget something: the military indicates that relatives can always send the necessary things by mail.
How is BZVP’s training gone
According to information from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, every recruiter passes the basic general military training (BZVP) before sending to the front. This is a necessary stage without which a serviceman cannot involve in combat missions.
BZVP is conducted in training centers in Ukraine or in special camps in European European countries.
Preparation usually lasts 45 days.
Recruiters are taught the basic skills necessary for survival and tasks: general tactics, weapons, military topography, tactical medicine, engineering, the basics of communication and UAV pilot.
