In total, 30 servicemen, including Colonel Artem Gorodilov and Lieutenant Colonel Konstantin Frolov, are in the case of injuries. Gorodilov and Frolov were guilty and concluded pre -trial agreements with the investigation. Both are accused of fraud in a particularly large amount; Frolov is also accused of bribe, illegal weapons, ammunition and explosives.
The criminal case was initiated after checking the testimony of one of the servicemen of the brigade, who spoke about scams during the injury. In the case of Frolov’s case, it said that during a full -scale war he was four injuries, although he carried stripes that pointed to seven wounds: five light and two severe. The investigation found that injuries were not caused during hostilities. The military himself later told that he was fired at his request at his request, aiming to not touch the vital organs.
According to the investigation, more than 30 servicemen of this team received a total of more than 200 million rubles of payments for injuries and injuries allegedly received at the front. These wounds also became the basis for the commanders of relations on the awarding of the victims of “courage” and medals “for bravery”.
In addition, investigators believe that the information about the Frolov, which was distributed by the media, in particular on the federal channels, was not true. In particular, the information that he allegedly had adopted a girl saved from the shelling, as well as that he was rescued by his comrade. The latter also became a person involved in the criminal case on the basis of Frolov’s testimony. According to Kommersant, he also testified to his commander – Horodilov. Both were detained in the summer of 2024.
From November 2024, payments for wounds in the war against Ukraine are from one to three million rubles depending on the severity of injuries.
