“The other day at the Medical Center of the National Guard of Ukraine there was an extraordinary event.
My friend – the absolute world champion in overweight, Alexander Usyk, visited the National Guards who are undergoing rehabilitation there.
He responded to my invitation to come to the military – in order to support, inspire, and personally express gratitude to anyone who was holding and holding his line.
The presence of a person who has reached the highest peaks in sports but does not stand aside from war is a powerful testimony to our soldiers: their struggle is important, and support is nearby. Such meetings strengthen the moral spirit, add strength and give a sense of true cohesion.
His humanity and openness were even ripe.

We talked with servicemen who restore strength after fighting.
Each has impressive stability and character. It was also felt in the questions they asked the champion and in the personal stories they shared.
There was a lot of sincerity, even humor – despite difficult events.
Alexander listened, supported and shared his life rules that help him to achieve victory. He thanked for the service and wished for a speedy recovery.
