The US President in response stated that he no longer considers the ceasefire to be the right stage.
“I do not think that a truce is needed. If you look at the six wars I completed this year – these were completed wars, not a truce. It would be good, but I also have a strategic understanding,” he said.
Trump continued that in this case, the parties would burn the forces and the case would again come to the “hot” war.
“I like the concept of a truce for one reason – because then the murders of people are stopped immediately. As long as we work on a peace agreement, the fighting will continue. I would like them to stop. But strategically for one of the parties it (a truce) can be a drawback,” the US president said.
Then Trump returned to the “six wars he completed” and said that he was “even without mentioning the word” truce. ”
