The performer criticized those who chose glory in Russia or fled from Ukraine.

The artist stressed that the stars who gained glory on the Ukrainian stage were obliged to express their civic position. Especially during a full -scale war, when every vote matters.
“Artists are not just entertainment. It is those who form thoughts, affecting society. Their silence is like a knife in the back. They were silent when they had to scream. Some – even came to the scenes of the aggressor country. It’s no silence. It’s a collaboration,” the performer said.
She is convinced that after our victory there should be no “second chance” for artists such as Povaliy or Lorak. Their return to the Ukrainian scene will be painful for those who experienced the occupation, lost their relatives, defended the state with weapons in their hands.
“They lost the moral right to be part of our cultural space. If they were silent when our cities were burning, then their song should no longer sound.
Zhannet added that many Ukrainian artists deliberately abandoned concerts in the Russian Federation long before the full -scale war. They chose the path of truth, even if it meant the loss of great fees. And it is today that they are a real example for the country. The performer believes that many artists changed their conscience for glory, because they were profitable to stay in the Russian media space:
“It seemed to them that they would be able to sit on two chairs, earn in Russia and stay neutral. But today it is impossible. To be neutral is also a position. And it is clearly not about Ukraine.”
A separate topic that causes anger in the performer is to obtain Russian citizenship with some former Ukrainian artists. In her opinion: such a step is the final boundary that no longer has a gate:
“As soon as they take the Russian passport, they cut themselves from all Ukrainian. It is not just a choice – it is a choice against the people who listened to you, applauded, considered their own.”
Zhannet also spoke about those who left the country in the first days of a full -scale invasion. She did not call specific names, but did not hide that it was, in particular, about Potap and Oleg Vinnik.
“Even if someone then started helping from abroad, the first thing that was remembered is an escape. People stayed here, lived in cellars, volunteered, fought. And the stars disappeared. For me, this is betrayal.
At the same time, she confessed that there were no artists in her circle who went to collaboration or silent. She is proud of it:
“There were only those who sang for their, who supported, who volunteered and performed in military units. I do not even want to intersect with those who chose glory in Russia instead of truth in Ukraine.”
We will remind, the other day singer Oleg Vinnyk called Germany his home and stated that he had no Ukrainian passport.
