“This decision was made today at a meeting of the Regional Commission on Technogenic and Ecological Safety and Emergency Situations of Donetsk Region. In total, 1879 children are currently in these settlements. The enemy fired at the Donetsk region about 3000 times daily – to stay in the region is very dangerous for life, ”the head of Ova wrote.
According to him, all structural units of regional authorities, law enforcement, local authorities “have a clear exhaust evacuation mechanism”.
In July, the Donetsk authorities began forced evacuation with 10 several settlements of Dobropilsk and Kryvyi Rih communities, where about 928 children were located.
Local authorities regularly urge residents to evacuate because of the threat of Russian shelling.
Earlier, Donetsk Ova reported Radio Svoboda that there are 837 settlements under the Russian occupation in the Donetsk region (447 of them – from 2014), the estimated area of the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region is 66.7 %.
