The Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine reported suspicion of information and subversive activities for the former Ukrainian pro-Russian policy Viktor Medvedchuk and 12 other persons.

Medvedchuk was suspected of justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, distributing materials calling for deliberate actions aimed at igniting hostility, providing a foreign country with assistance in conducting subversive activities against the country, and collaboration.
“Not later than October 2022, Viktor Vladimirovich Medvedchuk, in order to support the actions of the military political leadership of the Russian Federation and to ensure the possibility of carrying out the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, a criminal intent has arisen against the basics of national security of Ukraine, namely in the undergoing information activities aimed at supporting the Russian Federation and avoiding its responsibility for armed aggression, ”the reported.
According to the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Medvedchuk and 12 more people together created the project “Other Ukraine”, through which the Kremlin narratives were promoted. In particular, participants spread publications in which they justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and called for a change in the boundaries of the territory or state border, ignited national and religious hatred and distributed other materials in support of the aggressor state.
“Medvedchuk organized and headed an organized criminal group, defining the number of its participants needed to achieve the general criminal purpose, as well as the criminal specialization of the said group. 3 The purpose of the criminal plan was personally approved the number, frequency and time of actions aimed at carrying out information activities in cooperation with the aggressor state, ”the department explained.
Former Ukrainian journalist Denis Zharki was included in the list of persons who were declared suspicion, who was established by Medvedchuk with another Ukraine, registered in Russia as a public organization.
In Ukraine, the court satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Justice on the ban on 8 pro -Russian organizations, which prepared a coup at the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation. The association was coordinated by exnardep Viktor Medvedchuk.
On February 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko and Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. The sanction list was also a traitor of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk. All sanctions are indefinite.
