Details: Macron said that among the key topics discussed during the negotiations of European leaders with US President Donald Trump on war in Ukraine, special attention was paid to territorial issues.

He stressed that there are no serious plans on the exchange of territories on the table “there are no serious plans.”
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, commenting on the negotiations, told what positions they were in conversation with Trump. In particular, it was discussed that “Ukraine is ready to discuss territorial issues, but the line will be the starting position.”
“The legal recognition of the occupied territories is not discussed,” he said then.
Zelensky, in turn, said that during the negotiation in various formats, the issue of a potential meeting of US leaders and Russia in Alaska, which was scheduled for August 15, was discussed. Trump suggested that after meeting on Alaska they “would be in contact.”
