The Inter -Fractional MP “Smart Policy” proposes the Verkhovna Rada to allow persons aged 55 years of age, who have been called during mobilization, to undergo military service in areas where there are no fighting.

The relevant bill No. 13623 on amendments to some laws on resolving certain issues of service and social support for servicemen and their families was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on August 12.

The chairman of the interfractional deputy association and one of the authors of the draft law Dmitry Razumkov (non -factional) said that the document provides for mobilized persons over 55 years to serve in areas where there are no fighting.

“If a person realizes that he has the strength and desire to fight on the front line – then he can choose such a format of service voluntarily,” – explained Razumkov.

Earlier, the Department of Foreigners of Poland (all) recorded a significant increase in the number of applications for international protection, mainly from young men from Ukraine and Belarus, who, as they claim, seek to avoid military mobilization.
