Chief architect Sergey Ivanov-Kostetsky explained that according to the explanations of ecologists, the placement of trading facilities in such zones is allowed. After amendments, in particular the reduction of the construction area and the transfer of parking spaces within the area, the project received the approval of the majority of the Council: 16 out of 19 voted in favor.
The new shopping center will have an area of 1660 square meters, parking for 42 cars and 4-5 inputs. The developer also pledged to equip a lane for cycling. Additionally, the roof of the building is planned to install solar panels.
The customer of the project is LLC “Obriy Mali Podliski”, the end beneficiary of which is Dmitry Kovalchuk from the Dnieper.
