A video was posted on which Sing flies over open fields during probably trials. The speed meter in the FPV-Drone interface showed that Sing accelerated to 315 km/h, which approximately corresponds to the maximum speed of the standard high-speed train, Bloomberg writes.

The announcement was made against the background that the Ukrainian drone industry has been trying for several months to reach new limits for the speed of its FPV interceptors. The media states that Ukrainian units are increasingly relying on these cheap drones, which have recently been a novelty on the battlefield as a means of fighting Shahaned drones.

Russia uses “chema” not as beforeThe new Russian tactics that allow the UAV to fly above and faster have complicated the task of machine gun, which is one of the key elements of Ukrainian air defense. It became more difficult for them to knock down these drones.

That is why the speed of the interceptor is crucial, because the drone should be fast enough to catch up with “Shahaned”. The standard Shahd-136 model, most commonly used by Russia, for example, flies at about 185 kilometers per hour.

It is also reported that Sing is already used in combat, although the scale of its use is unknown. Wild Hornets stated that one such interceptor costs $ 2,500 and that Ukrainian operators have already destroyed with it about 100 Shahd drones.

In Ukraine, it is expected that interceptors will soon help to close the gaps in the air defense system. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has declared the goal – to produce 1,000 interceptors a day. However, journalists emphasize that at the same time Russia develops its own drone technologies.

The occupiers are reported to test and use the Shahaneda reactive versions, probably created on the basis of an advanced Iranian sample capable of developing speeds of up to 800 kilometers per hour.

Other News about Shahaneda’s CounteractionEarlier, UNIAN reported that a new drone-interceptor has appeared in Ukraine to counteract “Shahanedam”. Its key advantage is the ability to quickly identify and physically destroy the UAVs in the Ukrainian sky.

In addition, we told how helicopters and Yak-52 are destroying “Shahda”. According to army aviation commander Pavel Bardakov, this way of counteracting the UAV was forced, as the Russians began to launch their drones to great height.
