The Russian Defense Ministry declared an attack of 39 drones on Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea on Monday night, August 11. According to telegram channels, the plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region was damaged.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that 32 drones were “intercepted and destroyed” at night, seven more in the morning. The Ukrainian EXILENOVA+ Ukrainian Telegram wrote that the Arzamas Instrumentation Plant (APS) was hit. Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin reported that the attack was carried out on Two industrial zones in the region, in particular, in Arzamas.
JSC “PI Plandin” Arzamas Instrumentation Plant is under US, EU and Ukraine sanctions. The company produces devices for aviation and space industries within the state defense order. The plant is a joint -stock company “Tactical Missile Weapons”.
