Among the NRCs admitted, there are universal multifunctional platforms that can perform logistics and special tasks. They are also able to transport the wounded, which requires urgent evacuation.

Models have modern communication systems and cameras for video broadcasting. At the same time, new NRCs can work in different weather conditions and overcome long distances.
In total, since the beginning of 2025, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codied and allowed the operation of a total of 40 NRCs of Ukrainian production. For comparison, in 2024 IUU is permissible for operation of 60 such complexes, and in 2023 – only 13.
The defense department does not yet name the exact characteristics of new systems. It is also not reported when they are used in combat.
Earlier in Ukraine, a combat NRC was developed, which is capable of withstanding several FPV-auctions. This is the ZMIY DROID 12.7 model from Devdroid and Rovertech, which can be used for exploration and fire damage. The novelty is at the stage of codification and is ready for combat use.
