Azerbaijan has allocated two million dollars for the purchase of energy equipment of its own production for Ukraine

Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree allocation of two million dollars of Azerbaijani Energy for the purchase of energy equipment of its own production, which will be transferred to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.

“To allocate funds in the amount of $ 2.0 (two) million dollars equivalent to manats, the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan from the reserve fund of the President of Azerbaijan, provided by the State Budget for 2025, for the purchase and shipment of electrical equipment produced in the Azerbaijana. Decree of August 11, published on the website of President of Azerbaijan.

The day before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilgam Aliyev. In the course of the conversation, they condemned the “purposeful air strikes of Russia” on the oil depot of the Azerbaijani company SOCAR in the territory of Ukraine.

According to Azerbaijani telegrams, close to Aliyev’s environment, the Azerbaijan authorities may cancel the ban on the transfer of weapons from their reserves if Russian blows to the Azerbaijan energy facilities in Ukraine will continue.
