GUR was specified that they destroyed the Yenisei radar during a recent attack on occupied Crimea

In the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, they said that a recent attack in the occupied Crimea was amazed by the Russian radar station “Yenisei”, which is part of the C-500 air defense complex.

“The soldiers of the GUR unit of the MO of Ukraine during a recent operation in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea were struck by one of the most valuable radar stations in the arsenal of the state-aggressor of Russia-98l6“ Yenisei ”. The rare and expensive radar “Yenisei” is part of the Russian complex of air defense C-500 “Prometheus”. At the same time, this system can be used with hostile complexes C-400 Triumph,-said in a message published in the telegram.

The department emphasized that it was “a significant blow to the ability of the Russian invasion system in the temporarily occupied Crimea.”

On the eve of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that its drones were struck by a Russian landing boat, as well as radar stations and aircraft base in occupied Crimea. In particular, GUR was stated about the destruction of the Russian: the Sky-Swar radar; Adolescent K-1; 96l6e RLS.

Since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has regularly announced its air defense in occupied Crimea, however, as a rule, does not confirm the actual damage to the military infrastructure on the peninsula. At the same time, Ukraine declares strikes on military facilities in Crimea, which remains one of the key bases of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
