Sports lawyer Ilya Skoropashkin explained why the Chelsea London declared a discharged because of the doping of Ukrainian Wnger Michael Mudrik for the APL season 2025/26:
“There are two options. It is either a demonstrative gesture of trust and support of a football player who is experiencing the most difficult period in his career, or public refutation of options for filing a claim to a player or taking other sanctions from the club.
Or, more likely, the club’s confidence in the successful completion of the doping over the current season. That is, when removing disqualification, Chelsea will not have to wait for the application window to declare Michael. All you have to do is update the application and assign him to a game number that is not currently specified in the application. ”
