In South Korea demand to issue a warrant for the arrest of the former first lady

The Special Prosecutor’s team has submitted a warrant for the arrest of the former first Lady of South Korea Kim Kon -Hi.

Details: According to the newspaper, this happened the day after interrogation of her on charges of interfering and other violations.

The special prosecutor’s team stated that she had a request for a warrant on the charges of Kim Kon -Xi to violate the laws on the capital market, on political funds and on the acceptance of bribes through mediation.

“We have submitted a request to determine that the criteria for arresting the arrest warrant were fulfilled,” said the assistant of the special prosecutor at the John-XI during the press conference.

According to legal sources, the hearing on the issuance of a warrant will take place in the Central District Court Seoul next Tuesday.

Kim, the wife of the former President Yun Suk John, appeared in the office of a special prosecutor on Wednesday for interrogation of her probable involvement in manipulating prices for shares, interfering with nomination of candidates for parliamentary elections in 2022 and receiving a bribe in exchange for business services for the church.

Yonhap adds that the charges indicated in the arrest warrant are considered listed.

According to the South Korea Criminal Procedure Code, the criteria for arrest are fear of destroying evidence and the risk of escape. The special prosecutor team should investigate a total of 16 criminal charges against Kim.
