Details: It is reported that on Thursday, on August 7, Trump raised tariffs for goods imported to the United States from dozens of countries – after several weeks of delay and hurried negotiations with trading partners.

The tariff rates are from a minimum 10% to 50%, depending on countries and arrangements.
Eight major US trading partners managed to agree on framework agreements – in particular, the EU, Japan and South Korea, which managed to reduce the basic tariff to 15%.
Britain managed to negotiate 10%.
India, Brazil and Switzerland came under the biggest blow. The latter, as reported, during the last attempts could not be reduced to a 39 percent rate.
Trump against India on Wednesday introduced an additional tariff of 25% due to importing Russian energy.
In the EU, we recall, with conflicting emotions, the agreement reached from the United States was perceived. However, the European officials involved in the negotiations are convinced that the compromise reached was the smallest evil.
