“The investigating judge of the WACS partially supported the position of the SAP prosecutor and applied a pre -trial detention facility to the head of the city military administration, with an alternative to making six million hryvnias. The issue of appealing a preventive measure is being resolved, ”the message reads.
The SAP did not specify the details, including the name of the suspect. However, the other day President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed an order for the dismissal of Andriy Yurchenko from the post of head of the Rubizhansk city military administration of Lugansk region. It happened against the backdrop of NABU and SAP reports about the possible involvement of Yurchenko in corruption schemes during the purchase of Reb and UAV.
Yurchenko’s comments on the court’s decision were not yet.
On August 2, NABU and SAP stated that they exposed on a bribe when purchasing UAV and the means of the Reb of the current deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, heads of district and city military civil administrations, servicemen of the National Guard. It is reported that the scheme was to conclude state contracts with enterprises-suppliers at inflated prices, “up to 30% of the contract amount returned to the participants of the crime in the form of undue benefit.”

On August 4, the SAP noted that they had reported suspicion to the persons involved. As it became known, among them – the People’s Deputy from the faction of the “servant of the people” Alexei Kuznetsov, the head of the Mukachevo district state administration and the former chairman of Lugansk Ova Sergey Gaidai (he was also liberated by the President from the post of head of the RDA), as well as the head of Rubizhnko.
The Bax the day before took the People’s Deputy Kuznetsov for 60 days with the ability to make a pledge of UAH 8 003 004. The Kuznetsov deputy and his defense in the courtroom did not comment on the charges.
For Gaidai, the court chose a pre -trial detention measure for 60 days with the ability to make a pledge of more than UAH 10,000,000. Gaidai stated in court that “there is no person in the world to whom I would suggest that I would be allowed to roll off from what raising artificially prices for military needs.” He also said that he was not going to “run nowhere”, but “when it is all over, he will go to the front.”
On August 4, WACS also applied a preventive measure to the actual beneficial owner of LLC “Acopters” – UAV manufacturer: detention with an alternative to a pledge of UAH 15 million.
On August 5, the WACS chose a measure of restraint to two other persons involved in the purchase of UAV and the means of the IP: the head of the military unit and the director of LLC.
