PET-CT (positron emission tomography, combined with computed tomography) is a vital method for accurate diagnosis and monitoring of treatment efficiency, in particular, in Gojkin’s lymphoma and other cancer.
In total, there were three such devices in Ukraine:
- At the Kyiv City Oncocenter.
- At the Private Medical Center “Lisod”.
- The Hospital Hospital, which, according to the available information, will not work at least until September.
Thus, currently the modern diagnosis of Gojkin’s lymphoma and other similar cancers in Ukraine has become almost impossible. The nearest available devices are located in neighboring countries, including in Krakow or Lublin (Poland).
