The Foreign Minister supported the promise of US President Donald Trump to impose strict restrictions on Russia and the countries who trade with her in the coming days. The minister also noted that all countries in the world are now watching whether the American leader will fulfill their promises.
“Sanctions should be devastating for the Russian economy. They should prevent Russia from nourishing their military machine and trade with third countries, ”he stressed.
Sibiga stressed that the achievement of peace this year remains the goal for Ukraine, although Russia imitates peace talks to win time and occupy new territories. At the same time, the end of the war is in the interests of not only Ukraine.
