“I have been saying that memcons and NFTs are digital debris without real value,” Yakovenko said.
He compared these assets with lutbos in mobile games – products that bring money to developers, but raise questions from the standpoint of ethics. According to him, the market value of NFT and memoirs is kept exclusively in speculative demand.
Pollak did not agree with this approach and emphasized the values of the content:

Criticism from the community Yakovenko’s comments caused dissatisfaction with users X (Twitter). Some consider his position hypocritical, given the significant contribution of memoirs to the growth of the Solana ecosystem.
