He began his professional career in 1965 as part of Gou Enge Iglz, to which he will return three times throughout his life. The first period lasted 5 seasons – during this time Schneider played 108 matches and scored 10 goals. Such indicators attracted the attention of the trainers of “Figenorda”, who invited Dick to the famous Dutch club.
From 1970 to 1978 he defended the colors of “Figayerda”. These were the best years in his career: 219 matches and 51 balls. During this period, Schneider became the Netherlands champion twice and won the UEFA Cup.
In 1978 he returned to Gou Ehed Iglz. In three seasons he played 107 matches and scored 15 goals.
He also advocated Vithes and Vageningen.
He played 11 matches for the Netherlands team and scored 2 goals.
