GUR showed diplomats evidence of Western components in the drones of the Russian Federation

Specialists of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine provided evidence to Ukrainian and foreign diplomats for the supply of western components for the production of Russian weapons. This was told at GUR MOU.

– In the course of a special event of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for honorary consuls of foreign states and Ukrainian ambassadors, specialists of the GUR of Ukraine presented to diplomats samples of trophy Russian weapons and numerous electronic components of Western Products that continue to come to the Russian Federation, despite the sanctions, – they said.

In addition, military intelligence experts have presented an analytical platform War & Sanctions-a digital tool that allows you to effectively track Western components in Russian weapons and counteract the bypass of sanctions imposed on the aggressor state. The section of this portal “Components in weapons” regularly publishes an electronic database of new samples, researched by GUR experts and colleagues from research institutions.

During this event, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sibiga, among the main priorities of diplomatic activity, emphasized the increase in pressure on the Russian Federation and its associates. “Only the systemic interaction of security and diplomatic structures will block the supply of critical components for hostile weapons and stop the genocide war against the Ukrainian people,” he said.

• Earlier, Ukrainian law enforcement officers reported that Russian missiles and drones contain foreign components produced in at least 19 countries.
• On July 26, Zelensky said that Ukraine is exceeding the drone production plan this year. Manufacturers will significantly exceed the indicators expected at the beginning of the year.
