In its election program, ADN did not include the condemnation of the Russian Federation for an aggressive war against Ukraine. The political force manifesto stated that the party sees Ukraine in the future “neutral state outside NATO and the EU”.
This party officially advocates sanctions against Russia, renewal of Russian gas procurement, and generally restoring good relations with the aggressor. This was stated by the leader of the Waidel Party during an election campaign in Germany.
