Smigal’s Defense Minister presented his team of six deputies

New appointments:

• Lieutenant General Ivan Havrylyuk-First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine

He has considerable experience in management positions in the military administration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Earlier he was an adviser to the Commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces and the head of the Main Department of Logistics, as well as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In April-August 2022 he was the chairman of the working group from Ukraine at the Coordination Headquarters to assist Ukraine in Germany.

From October 2023 to May 2024 he was the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, and later, by April 2025 – the first Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

• Sergey Boev – Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine

He has considerable experience in the fields of economy, strategic planning, industry and safety.

He started his career as an analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co and Credit Suisse in the UK. After returning to Ukraine, he worked at Boston Consulting Group Ukraine, as well as in management positions at JSC “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” and NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, where he was responsible for strategy, development and analytics.

From 2023 he held the posts of an advisor, and subsequently the frost Minister of European Integration Minister at the Ministry of Strategic Industry.

In October 2024 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense for European Integration, in April 2025 – the first Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

• Anna Gvozdyar – Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine

Volunteer and public activist. Since 2014, she has joined the initiatives related to the provision of troops, the issues of Ukrainian prisoners and families of the dead.

From 2015 to 2016 she worked as an adviser to the head of the Luhansk VCA.

From 2020 to 2023 she held the position of Director of the Charitable Foundation Sergey Pritula.

Since September 2023 she worked as Deputy Minister for Strategic Industry of Ukraine. It has a deep examination in the field of defense production, innovation and zoom.

• Colonel Volodymyr Pereukha – Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine

He has 22 years of military service experience and work in the defense sector.

He started his service in 2006 in engineering troops. In 2017-2020 he was in military service in the Department of Environmental Safety and Mine Activities. From 2020 to 2025 he held a number of leadership positions in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in particular-the deputy director of the Department of Military-Technical Policy, the development of weapons and military equipment of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine-the Head of the Department of Weapons and Military Equipment.

In May 2025 he was appointed the first Deputy Minister for Strategic Industry of Ukraine.

• Major Yuri Mironenko – Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine

He has the experience of leading large holdings and deep expertise in the field of drone technologies.

During a full -scale invasion he defended Kyiv as part of 112 Brigades TRI. From March 2023 to December 2023 he was the commander of the UAV unit of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection, participating in battles in the south of Ukraine.

He was awarded the badges of the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Silver Cross” and “Steel Cross”.

In 2023-2024 he headed the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection. During the year, there was a significant progress in the technological security of security and defense forces – together with the Ministry of Defense, a transparent UAV procurement system was launched, which provided an army of more than 1 million drones.

From December 2024 to February 2025 he worked as Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

In February 2025 he headed the Center for Innovation and Development of Defense Technologies of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, where he coordinated the introduction of Delta combat system.

• Oksana Ferchuk – Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for digital development, digital transformations and digitalization

She worked as adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine in 2022, focusing on the digitalization of logistics processes. Coordinated the implementation of the Logfas system, to which Ukraine received full access in 2022, the launch of the Korovay International Cooperation Platform.

Ensured coordination of the introduction of a medical information system (MIS of the Armed Forces) in the command of the medical forces.

Coordinated the introduction of logistics management system (SAP), in particular the automation of the processes of supply of rear support (real property, PMM), the supply of weapons (land systems of weapons, UAVs, HRS), property of communication, medical supply, automation of contract work.

Before full -scale aggression was a topless of well -known Ukrainian logistics and product services, in particular the director of the Nova Poshta Group of Companies, Electronic Public Procurement (Prozorro reform), and electronic workflow service on time.

By the way, earlier President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the mineral strategy is united with the Ministry of Defense. According to him, the Ministry of Defense will not only be responsible for the military sphere, but also manage the strategic industries.
