On August 8, a farewell to journalist Victoria Roshchina, who died in Russian captivity, will take place in Kiev.
The start of service – at 12:00 in the Mikhailov Cathedral, after which a short civilian ceremony will be held at the Independence Square at 13:00, and at 14:00 – burial at the Baykovo Cemetery.
The ceremony is organized by Victoria’s colleagues from different media where she worked. The family asks to refrain from comments during goodbye.
We will remind, the body of journalist Victoria Roshchina was returned to Ukraine with traces of torture and without part of the organs.
Also, the US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brynk called the death of Ukrainian journalist Victoria Roshchina in the captivity of the Russian Federation a reminder of how Russia behaves with disloyal to the regime of the media.
