In the summer, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, residents suffer from mass bites of small insects – wetlands, which, despite their small size, cause considerable discomfort.
People complain of sharp pain, itching and allergic reactions after their attacks.
Mokrets are usually active in wet weather and dusk, most of them near reservoirs, swamps, as well as in city parks. They are distinguished from mosquitoes by the fact that they do not pierce, but cut the skin and lick the blood. Because of this, the bites are accompanied by redness, swelling, itching, and sometimes blisters.
We will remind, Zaporozhye suffers from the invasion of locusts.
Also in the southeastern regions of Ukraine the active spread of migratory locusts has been recorded.
