Details: NABU emphasized that the use of the polygraph in such cases – established internal practice of the bureau: “Workers undergo a polygraph during official investigations, appointments and reassignments. It is not an innovation, but a tool of internal integrity.”
In particular, in 2024, the UWC conducted more than 200 psychophysiological surveys of NABU employees using a polygraph.
What was before: On July 24, the bill 13533 President Vladimir Zelensky on the powers of the Anti -Corruption Bodies of NABU and SAP appeared on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

- On July 22, the Verkhovna Rada approved Law No. 12414 as amended to the Criminal Procedure Code, according to which NABU and SAPs become dependent on the decisions of the Prosecutor General. On the evening of July 22, the President signed the document.
